'Beer and soft drinks' is a good way of expressing 'пиво-безалкогольный'. 'Beverage' can mean almost any drink that's been manufactured/processed in some way, as opposed to (say) tap-water. 'Комбинат' is a challenge to translate into English, as although it's very common in Russian, 'combine' is hardly ever used in English to mean a group of companies working together; it's used mainly to refer to Soviet-era, eastern-European enterprises. If you want a more modern, 'English'-/'international'-sounding word, you'll need to use something else, but I can't think of a word that's suitable. Therefore I'd paraphrase it as Linch has done and use a more general term such as 'Producer' (as he has) or 'Enterprise'. On the other hand, if you're happy to reflect the organisation's Soviet-era character in its title, you can always use 'Combine', of course. |

| johnstephenson. As a matter of fact, "комбинат" is not a group of companies, but rather a combination of production processes, though sometimes I see no logic in differentiating between a "комбинат" and a factory. A group of companies was (or still is) often referred to as "объединение". |

I wouldn't use 'plant'/'brewery plant'. 'Brewery' is normally used by itself, just as 'foundry' is. Don't ask me why. Also, breweries don't normally produce soft drinks, so you need a construction that covers both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. 'Plant' is normally used for factories involved in heavy industry of some sort. So it's.... but.... and.... Again, don't ask me why.... Unfortunately, with English names of plants, factories etc, you have to learn each one separately. |

beer manufacturer - американский вариант в Европе говорят brewing company; beer production facility о самом предприятии можно сказать plant, например, plant manager (директор пивного завода) |
