если по ссылке, то получается "сотрудник и владелец Участника, ответственный за ..." Участник здесь как компания, юрлицо-участник мероприятия или входящая в СП, или холдинг и т.п. |

trtrtr: I studied it from the 1st year at grammar school (=secondary school), then (5th year) got an 'O'-level in it, then (7th year) got an 'A'-level in it, then did four years at Liverpool Polytechnic and got an honours degree in Ru and French. Ever since then I've just been going senile, of course.... Why Russian? Because at our grammar school, they taught Ru and Fr (and later, Ge), and I found I enjoyed modern languages. The grammar schools generally were quite good at languages. (Many of them also taught Latin, but this didn't interest me). |

johnstephenson, I hear to get a degree, language students in the UK (and probably in most countries) are required to have a compulsory period of study abroad. Did you go to some university in the USSR for a semester or two? Were there any exchange programmes? |
| While I am waiting for you answer, just to amuse myself, I am trying to imagine a couple of people from your school who did study Latin, having a chat in Latin in a pub somewhere... |

trtrtr: Yes, as part of the course we had a period -- though only of 2 months -- on a course for foreign Russian students at Leningrad Polytechnical Institute, and it was very interesting. It should have been 3 months, but was reduced due to the Cold War. I also spent time in Paris, Annecy and Geneva learning French. I made a big mistake on the Leningrad course when the tutor asked us all (in Russian) what we did at weekends. I said: "По субботам и воскресеньям мы с друзьями часто ходим в публичный дом". She looked at me sternly and said: "Джон, этим не надо гордиться!" None of us could work out what I'd said wrong. I should have said "паб", of course (pub = short for 'public house'). Oh dear.... |

Having said that "этим не надо гордиться!" she acknowledged that there is at least one публичный дом in Leningrad... Otherwise, she'd say, that you're a liar.. |
