Many thanks.Издательство, транспорт, сношения не могут быть удовлетворительно поставлены при нелегальных формах деятельности. Нам нужны теперь не десятки, не сотни тысяч листков, а миллионы. Нужны не полдюжины типографий, из которых больше 3/4 работают на жалких самодельных станках, нужны десятки ротационных машин, чтобы мы могли забросать любой пункт нашей агитационной литературой. |

But I believe in this context 'сношения' refers specifically to some aspect of propaganda production. Leonid Krasin is arguing here for the Party to act more openly/legally - and I don't quite get how in this sense can you have 'illegal relations'? As such it would be: “Publishing houses, transport of propaganda and relations cannot be satisfactorarily put in place using illegal forms of activity." To me this doesn't sound quite right in English... |
