FIDES Guide 2009 issue A Electronic components / Thermal resistance of components *: For power cases (type TO218, DPAK, ISOTOP, etc.), the thermal resistance "RJA" should only be applied if the case is mounted directly on the board; otherwise (for example), when the case is screwed onto a metallic structure or if it is provided with a heat sink, it is recommended that the thermal resistance "RJC" should be applied. |
