morbidity - уровень заболеваемости (как составной фактор тяжести его распространения)

Я что-то вообще запутался... Ведь prevalence - это тоже распространенность... Понимаю, что у нас с терминологий (во всех областях) - полный пшик, но работать-то как-то все равно надо...

complete prevalence
Complete Prevalence represents the proportion of people alive on a certain day who previously had a diagnosis of the disease, regardless of how long ago the diagnosis was, or if the patient is still under treatment or is considered cured.

Вот вам до кучи определение из Taber's Med. Dictionary

disease burden
The total effect of a disease or diseases on an individual as well as society.
Knowledge concerning this is important, particularly in attempting to plan prevention programs and in evaluating the success or failure of intervention. However, without a rational system for measuring disease burden, the concept is of little value. In 1993 the disease-adjusted life-year (DALY) concept was described in a publication from the World Bank. It is based on the quantitation not only of mortality but also of suffering and loss of health. Data obtained using the DALY concept will permit establishing the priority for treating specific diseases and conditions. The goal would be to allot research and treatment resources according to where they would have the best chance to make a difference in alleviating suffering and prevention of death from specific illnesses.

Отсюда видно, что это понятие - шире, чем просто распространенность заболевания, и вообще говоря, переводиться должно контекстуально.
