Subject: ...the situation when/ the situation where... gen. there may unfold the situation when de facto power wins.or ... where de facto power wins Is there any rule that tells us what is better to use "where" or "when" after the "situation". I think that in my context both options are possible but my german college told me that "when" cannot be used at all. |
