Subject: FDC, chop bank. Уважаемые коллеги, надеюсь, Вы поможете разобраться с возникшей у меня трудностью, сама уже голову сломала =)Дали на перевод совсем небольшую выдержку из банковского контракта (без уточнения что за контракт и для каких целей). Одна из статей именуется "MAKING OF DEPOSITS AND ISSUANCE OF FDCS" (последняя S идет как множественное число, а не часть аббревиатуры). И далее по тексту встречается вот это FDC следующим образом: "The Pledgor hereby designates the chop or secret code delivered to the Bank in relation to the opening and maintenance of the Account as the chop or secret code required for the issuance of each FDC and acknowledges and agrees that every FDC issued by the Bank pursuant to this Agreement is acceptable to it and that no separate chop or secret code will be required for such purpose." Также в этом предложении непонятно, что стоит за словом "chop". Буду очень благодарна за любую помощь! |

| gni153, подскажите, вы встречались уже где-то с тем, что chop и secret code это одно и то же, или сделали вывод непосредственно из представленного мною фрагмента текста? если где-то нагуглили, подскажите, где именно. В данном случае важно перевести максимально точно, и, к сожалению, assumptions не приветствуются. |

trtrtr, а в банковском деле практикуются какие-то жетоны? Я пока взяла, как "разрешение", так как по тексту Залогодатель передает этот chop Банку. Не думаю, что он печать ему отдает. |

Не думаю, что он печать ему отдает. Может, лучше оттиск (пример печати) |
