Fiberline/Airlock Screw Feeder
...The Gate Assembly has to be completely disassembled to be removed from the Airlock Screw Feeder.
Disassembly:
See Appendix 1 of this manual for the drawings showing the Airlock Screw Feeder for this project.
1. Remove the cover.
2. Remove the counterweight assembly by removing the hardware holding it to the hinge.
3. Remove both split collars on the side opposite the hinge.
4. Unbolt the bearing housing on the side opposite the hinge and remove the bearing housing and the ***linear bearing as a unit. Remove the linear bearing from the bearing housing.
5. Unbolt the bearing housing on the side with the counterweight.
6. Secure the door and remove the hinge. The keys, the bearing housing and the linear bearing will come with the hinge. Once the hinge is out, remove the remaining bearing housing and linear bear-ing from the hinge.
