Теоретически: skimmer = A + B, где: A - название удаляемой в процессе чистки субстанции, B - вторая часть составного слова, может быть уловителем, отделителем etc. Например, если взять маслоотделитель, то здесь A = масло, B = отделитель. В нашем конкретном случае A диктуется исключительно контекстом, в отличие от drain pipe, которая всегда drain pipe. |
