Subject: брать на себя обязательства gen.

Подрядчик не обязан проверять подобные условия и брать на себя обязательства за условия, которые не находятся под контролем Подрядчика, а так за иные необычные условия на месте проведения работ, в скважине, а также за её пределами и в случаях, когда информация о состоянии скважины, предоставляемая Заказчиком, является неполной или недостоверной.

The Contractor is not required to check such conditions and undertake an obligation for conditions that are not under the control of the Contractor, as well as for other unusual conditions on the work site, in the well, as well as outside, and in cases when information on well status, provided by the Client, is incomplete or illegible.

undertake means commit oneself to something and probably not
" to take an obligation" . I would rather say "Contractor is not
supposed to delve for conditions out of the control of his such as..."

Кто-то явно использовал для этого пункта перевод с английского, где liability перевели не как "ответственность", а как "обязательства". (Я всегда призывал не менять числа в переводах без надобности. Вот один из результатов).
И формула стандартная: shall not be obliged to check any of such conditions or be in any way liable for any of conditions beyond the Contractor's control
