Прошу проверить перевод абзаца:

We did an experiment to prove it. We closed the SMA connector, set temperature at
- 20 C in the Spectrasuite and started recording spectra. When we put NIRQuest in a refrigerator with the temperature of 10 C, signal began to fall (Fig.4). But the Spectrasuite temperature indicator showed that temperature is still -20 C and its drift was 0.1 C. When the dark signal stopped falling, temperature was still -20 C.

Смысл, который нужно было передать:
Для доказательства, мы провели эксперимент. Мы закрыли SMA вход, установили температуру на -20С и начали записывать спектры. Когда мы поместили NIRQuest в холодильник с температурой 10С, сигнал начал падать. Но индикатор в программе показывал температуру -20С с дрейфом в 0.1С. Когда сигнал прекратил падать, индикатор показывал те же -20С.

Исходный перевод лучше - здесь какая-то катавасия с временами и безличными формами
input got closed??
"reading was showing" - тоже никуда не годится

After NIRQUEST was placed inside a refrigerated at 10oC, the signal started to decrease. Still, .. indicator stayed ? at -20oC with a thermal drift of 0.1oC.

Там не reading was showing, а reading was -20С, showing 0.1С thermal drift.
