Подскажите, пожалуйста, русскоязычный эквивалент термина "Research I" university:These colleges also encourage a high level of teacher-student interaction at the center of which are classes taught by full-time faculty rather than graduate student teaching assistants (TAs), who do teach classes at some Research I and other universities. the term "Research I university" is no longer valid, though many universities still use the term. университет с усиленной исследовательской деятельностью? |

Это термин из старых изданий Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education. С 2000 года вместо него используется термин "Doctoral/research universities-extensive", с 2005 эту категорию вообще разбили на три: Research Universities (RU/VH)—very high research activity |
