Subject: inhalable dust&respirable dust OHS Коллеги, в чём разница "по жизни" между этими понятиями?Словарь даёт для обоих "вдыхаемая пыль". Пыль, вдыхаемая через рот в отличии от пыли, вдыхаемой через нос? Спасибо за подсказку. |

Explanation: "The Health and Safety Executive distinguishes between two size fractions when setting limits for total inhalable and respirable dusts. Total inhalable dust approximates to the fraction of airborne material which enters the nose and mouth during breathing and is therefore available for deposition in the respiratory tract. Respirable dust approximates to that fraction which penetrates to the gas exchange region of the lung." ProZ |
