Subject: off a crack of the throttle gen. Ау, мотоциклисты! Перевожу статейку о езде на заднем колесе на спортивном байке. Там вот и встретилась такая фраза. Для контекста привожу весь абзац:
A 600cc sport bike will wheelie off a crack of the throttle in first gear between an rpm range of 6k to 8k depending on your bike. For the first try, I recommend that you do not go above 6k when you crack (open) the throttle. When you do crack the throttle you will be turning it about a 1/4 inch to a 1/2 inch in a fast motion. Also for the first try; do not try an hold the wheelie up even though your instincts won't let you anyways. If the wheel does come up the first time you will most likely let off the throttle and the wheel will slam back down. This is ok and normal for the first try. If the wheel doesn't come up, try opening the throttle quicker or farther or both. If still nothing happens then go to 7k then 8k until you start to notice the wheel lifting off the ground. The wheel should definitely start to come up at around 8k in first gear, if not, you are doing something wrong.
По смыслу вроде бы получается "не открывая дросселя". А как вернее? Заранее благодарен!
