The corps MP provide combat power within the command’s rear area. They perform combat operations to counter Level II forces and to support the defeat of Level III forces.
When properly augmented, the MP brigade may serve as the corps’s TCF. The corps MP also provide a critical link between MP operations in the division and in the COMMZ.
