нету речи о businesses и о organized crime речь об "организациями" -- institutions (не только businesses) и о "преступная граппировка" -- mob (gang -- на уровне шпаны, не контролирует шпана весь город) |
| На русском канцелярите особенно в данном контексте под организациями и имеются в виду business(es). Institution слово спесффиское и я бы избегал. |

"a criminal gang" is fine, or "organized crime" "the mob" usually refers specifically to the Italian Mafia in the USA (or to other ethnic groups when used in phrases like "the Russian mob") "a criminal mob" sounds kind of strange to me - I would use it to describe a crowd of rioters, but not an organized group |
