Subject: have to address for
Помогите перевести, пожалуйста:

The good news is that we are committed at every level of the company from the CEO on down, that this something we absolutely have to address for our customers.

x-z +1

"to address + for" is not quite right. I think the above version sounds better... 'that this is something we must communicate to our customers'.

"Это нечто"? Makes me wonder. =)
"To address something" might mean "to deal with something" - incl. for somebody. It's the only likely explanation I can come up with, from the top of my head.
2 dron1: Any more substance/context to follow?

2 silly.wizard:
Good question. =))
EN -> RU, judging by the initial post and translation: "и этой преданностью мы хотем поделиться с нашими клиентами." - This is easily translated without "to address for", and defeats the whole point in asking.

My guess is, you should've asked the fella for some more context. =))

Dude, you already asked that (21:47)... i did not need to repeat ;)

2 silly.wizard: 'Course you didn't. You know, it's like this: when one guy asks, he is easier to ignore than when it's a whole f*cking gang of 'em asking, don't you agree? ;)
=)

Ah, natrix, you're confusing me now! That's exactly what I wrote: that Тимурыч had the right idea. I just expressed it in English, in order to show what the original SHOULD have been like...
