Susan, if this helps, UK rates for Russian v/o are from £150/hour. There's no upper limit. The rate is ALWAYS calculated on the basis of time actually spent in the studio. Regardless of the length of the output material it can be a 30-second commercial, but if it takes two hours to record - the voice-over is paid for two hours. Additional payments are made for commercial products (like computer games) or TV/Radio/Internet advertising thereof. These payments are called buy-outs and range from 500% of the basic studio fee (for the right to broadcast on Russian main channels for 12 month) to 2000% for some commercial products. i.e. if you are asked to record one line for a computer game that may sell a million copies you will charge say £200 for an hour in the studio (even if it only takes 5 minutes) and then say 1000% buy-out fee (ALWAYS negotiate buy-outs beforehand!) - scooping up cool £2.2k for a ten minute job. it is an awfully lucrative business, but competition is fierce. And it is no different in Russia. best of luck. |

DrMorbid если проект некоммерческий (напр. озвучка внутреннего корпоративного фильма или какого-нибудь тренинга), то "отступные" как правило не оплачиваются - оплачивется только студийное время. забыл добавить - "отступные" подлежат оплате ТОЛЬКО при условии выхода ролика в эфир (или продукта - в производство и продажу). Так что если вы записали рекламу, а в эфир она не пошла (по какой угодно причине), то вам оплатят лишь студийное время. |
