Customs transit Customs transit is not used when goods are imported from the Åland Islands to mainland Finland or exported from mainland Finland to the Åland Islands. The same applies for trade between the Mälardalen area in Sweden and the Åland Islands province, as it is meant in the cooperation agreement between border customs offices. Otherwise in the Community, the internal transit procedure must be used when goods are transported within the customs territory of the Community between two territories, of which at least the other one is not part of the fiscal territory of the Community. |
