Subject: staging wires nautic. Всем добрый день. Был в Мультитране уже вопрос по переводу staging wires, но никто ничего не ответил. Может, сейчас кто-то подскажет. Термин встречается вот в таком абзаце: Small diameter holes provided for staging wires are to be closed by plugs of an approved pattern. The plugs are to be provided with a thick washer of suitable material which is also compatible with the intended cargoes. Вообще в тексте речь идет о люковых закрытиях и, в частности, о Tanker access arrangements and closing appliances Спасибо. |

2.3.8 A ship’s means of access to carry out overall and close-up inspections and thickness measurements is to be described in a Ship Structure Access Manual which is to consist of two parts. The first part is to include the following for each space: a) plans showing the means of access to the space, with appropriate technical specifications and dimensions; b) plans showing the means of access within each space to enable an overall inspection to be carried out, with appropriate technical specifications and dimensions. 3.5.17. При заводке и обтягивании оттяжек для крепления переборок трюмных разделительных на работающих должны быть надеты предохранительные пояса с лямками. в этом же (в моем) тексте есть еще одно упоминание термина staging. Oiltight hatchways are to be kept to the minimum size required to provide reasonable access and ventilation. Where tanks are large or subdivided by wash bulkheads, additional hatchways may be required. In determining the size and location of hatchways, consideration should be given to the handling of materials and staging for maintenance in the tank Из контекста видно, что staging имеет отношение к обслуживанию грузовых цистерн (заголовок раздела говорит о cargo tanks). Соответственно, staging wires должны иметь отношение к обслуживанию. Поэтому похоже, что речь идет о лесах и о тросах/оттяжках для этих лесов. |

видимо так тогда будет что-то наподобие: "отверстия небольшого диаметра для заводки тросов (оттяжек)" которые в обычных условиях закрываются резьбовыми пробками |
| ...да, изучение индийского мануала сподвигло меня на мысель, что staging - это если не леса, то какие-то констрюкции для обслуживания чего-то такого... точнее Вам скажет тока моряк, я свое крысосухопутное назначение выполнил и удаляюсь... :=))) |
