Subject: subject to homestead
This is an excerpt from "FORM OF APPLICATION FOR INITIAL REGISTRATION OF TITLE TO LAND":

Third. Description of real estate is as follows: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

estate or interest therein is . . . . . . and . . . . . . subject to homestead.

What does "subject to homestead" mean? Does it mean that the estate or interest can be/should be used for farming purposes?

What can be written in the gaps in "estate or interest therein is . . . . . . and . . . . . . subject to homestead"?

Estate or interest therein is in fee simple, and is not subject to homestead.
