This means that the equal pay principle applies to the same work and to “mixed jobs”, that is
ones performed by both women and men, but also to work of the same value.
The principle of equality should cover all the elements of pay, that is basic or
minimum wages or salary plus all other benefits paid directly or indirectly in
cash or kind by the employer to the worker by reason of the latter’s
employment.
