not sure but so far as i understand PYP is just a phase in schooling, not necessarily programme as curriculum. I don't know much about the american (australian? south african?) education but i presume the uk equivalent would be Foundation Stage - which both stands for Foundation Stage curriculum and a stage in primary schooling. A head of school would usually have several assistant heads, each of whom oversee a key department, if you like, within the school. I.e. in a uk mainstream school you'd have a foundation stage coordinator, a Year 1/Year 2 coordinator, and so on. I mean, you could possibly drop the word programme and translate the 'primary years coordinator' hope this helps |

i mean, sorry if i'm confusing you i'd assume PYP is a stage within primary schooling so you might have to be careful how you translate it, so it doesn't look like it's hte whole of primary schooling you can google or wiki it i s'pose |

| in States its "something like" period of schooling when many subjects (if not all, or excluding only gym) is being taught by same teacher, and that's up 'till 3'rd or fourth grade, i think. I was too old for elementary, and possibly there is the cause of my ill-literacy.^)) |
