PHD Chamber organized the 9th Annual Chief Secretaries' Summit on 18th October 2008 at PHD House, New Delhi. Shri T K A Nair, Principal Secretary, Prime Minister's Office chaired the Summit. The Summit focused on initiatives and reform agenda for development of skills and power sector. Shri Satish Bagrodia, Sr. Vice President, PHD Chamber, in his welcome address emphasized that skills and power development in Northern Region would promote equitable economic development and strengthen growth momentum. Northern Region should take a lead by adopting a mission approach towards skill development and focus on increasing public-private partnerships. Shri Ravi Wig, Past President and Chairman, NRC Council, PHD Chamber, in his introductory remarks underlined the significance of adopting a common minimum programme by all the states for development of skills and power during the 11th plan.
