мне кажется, перевод может усложниться тем, что Catherine Cookson http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catherine_Cookson умерла в 1998 году, интервью опубликовано в 2008.

Не, лучше привести последующий комментарий самого автора (там же ниже в ветке-обсуждении): Catherine Cookson’s dead? Well, so much for cocktails. I just looked her up on Wikipedia: she was a Dame of the British Empire and wrote over a hundred books. And all these years I thought she was a perpetually 55-year-old Arlington, Virginia chatelaine in the style of Danielle Steele. I’ve been a very bad book neighbor all these years.
