Multi-opening overlay press line

Multi-opening overlay press lines provide hi-capacity solutions for the mass production of mainly phenolic film overlays.
Surfaces may be smooth or wire meshed. Typical capacity is 8 -16 press cycles / hour, depending on the type of overlay material and panel used.
The number of press openings can be from 10 up to 24- 30. The overlay film application system plays an important role in high-capacity overlay lines due to its high-speed operation, precise film placement on the panel and minimal film consumption.

Single-opening overlaying

Single-opening overlay press lines are very flexible and are typically used to produce small batch lots and a wide range of surface patterns. They are also an ideal solution when production calls for a wide range of varied overlay materials.
Panels must be of very good quality since the overlaying pressing temperature and pressure are usually quite high, which can cause significant mechanical stresses within the panel. The typical capacity level for a single-opening line is 60 - 120 press cycles/hour, depending on the type of overlay material and panel being used.
