8.1 Tolerances. Where an angular tolerance and a drop dimension tolerance conflict, the more stringent shall take precedence and the tolerances are not cumulative. 8.2 Single Bend Elbows. 8.2.1 The face of tube ends shall be cut and finished perpendicular to tube (end) axis ±1°.
8.2.2 Angular tolerance between tangents is ±1° (±2° for non-aerospace).
8.2.3 "Drop dimensions" as measured normal and parallel to the axis at one end point, to the axis at the other end point, in the plane of the bend, will have a tolerance of ±. 015 inch (see Figure 1).
8.2.4 Tube ends shall be burr free.
