Subject: OFF - sort of guys, his tightassness my boss in one of his more asinine moments asked me to translate or to find a ready-made russian translation of kippling's If. one of our local staff is leaving for brighter and better things (good for him!) and the boss in question, being his usual hectoring pontificating self, wants to give him a farewell admonision in both languages. and he had thought of nothing better than to plagiarize poor rudyard. i m not much adept at surfing the ru-net, so if somebody could help me find good links, i would be much obliged. otherwise i will just have to translate it myself, which i dont particualry relish, seeing as my langauge is rather pedestrian and utterly devoid of any poetic aspirations. merci a toutes et a tous, tal'
