Subject: Электронный друг Please translate this expression:Электронный друг The phrase is used in the following e-mail header: Электронный друг-ускорение разрешение-на радиочастоты This is the "SUBJECT" line in an e-mail that concerns expediting the process of obtaining a radio-frequency license. Does "ускорение" belong with "Электронный друг" or should the hyphen (дефис) really be a dash (тире)? I'm confused. Thanks. |
IMHO it should be: Electronic assistant - expediting the process of obtaining a radio frequency license. The fact that there are two "-" is throwing off somewhat at the first sight. And they missed the word "получения" dead in the middle of the sentence :)) |

Thank you both. "Electronic assistant" and PDA make much more sense than "Electronic pet"! I appreciate the suggestions. Glad you're out there and willing to help. Keep up the good work! Becky |
