Subject: nothing ages Помогите понять nothing ages в данном контексте:Речь идет о том, что в Нью-Йорке в 90-х перезакрывали очень много ночных клубов, магазинов, где продавали порно-фильмы и вообще всяких заведений связанных с сексом. But all good things always seem to come to an end. The live sex shows ended in the eighties and alas, as of 1999, the city has even cleaned up Times Square for poor defenceless Disney. Now it's even hard to find a good porno book store, let alone a nasty strip club. But already how quickly it was becoming tarnished and dated.............. No longer now before the cheap Disney facades fall apart and the big old recession kicks in. Nothing ages. New York is, after all, the gateway to America, so each new mayor needs to at least give it a lick of paint. Times Square is just a bad location, or good, depending on your perversity. Nothing ages - ничто не стареет в каком смысле? К чему это относится? Если кто понял, объясните пожалуйста. Заранее спасибо, Анна. |
