Somehow, I just DON'T LIKE my translation. Would you, dear colleagues, kindly crticize it in case of any mistakes and/or stylistical discrepancies?

Original:

Translation:

"That is the way of the world from times immemorial. When a person decided to purchase a cart, he or she could well foresee many more pains demanding to be taken care of: horseshoes, axis, jingle-bells and so on. In general, the centuries that passed have brought no ease. Today, when you buy a car you just have to look after spare parts and a whole set of additional equipment. Production and use of modern car is accompanied by a wide range of automotive components, repairs and technical service equipment."

Thanx!

Читай: "Так повелось _ испокон веков" - с давнего времени - from the beginning of times

Я бы написал "It's been this way for centuries", чтобы избежать неуместного пафоса.

just a suggestion:

... and so it has been since times immemorial. From the moment someone purchased a cart, that person also attained a score of new head aches: horseshoes, axis, jingle-bells, etc. In the centuries that have passed since, the problem of related purchases has not evolved that much. Today, when one buys an "aluminum beast," one needs to think about spare parts and additional equipment. The advent of the modern automobile was followed by an emergence of the auto repair and service industry.
