For the development of specified fine suspensions for high performance concrete, a large variety of puzzolanic materials is used (e.g. silica fume, synthetic silica qualities, sheet silicates, fine fly ashes etc.). With these materials, an optimum grading in the particle size and also an optimum chemical composition can be realised to guarantee the successful implementation of the concrete technology described above.
