Наталия Edge masking is used especially for cooling units with U-tubes in order to avoid excessively cooled plate edges which in turn may cause edge waviness and/or high residual stresses. The position of edge masking is variable over the length of the cooling system and over the time. Edge masking is controlled by a total of 4 geared motors each of which comes with a limit switch for monitoring the minimum position of edge masking. |
