Subject: огнетушитель Удостоверьтесь, что огнетушитель не поврежден, его сопло не забито, the pin is secure, и уплотнение цело.Как перевести выделенное словосочетание? Что это за игла и что надо проверить? Спасибо. |
| it seems like this extinguisher is activated similar to a grenade: in russian it's called 'cheka', i.e. this pin has not been pulled out or damaged, and is in the right position, etc... |
| hey there, i just stepped out to the hallway to look at this thing and there is an instruction on it saying; pull the pin out, this pin is a bent piece of metal between the lever and the handle, looks like exactly as the gun at the gas station pump, once you remove it you can easily squeeze the lever...hope it helps.... |
| this pin is not a 'needle' at all , it's a bent strip of a metal, 3/4 inches (2 cm) wide and wedges the lever, so it blocks/safeguards the inadvertant squeeze, i would say in russian it's 'predohranitel' '... |

| Это действительно pin (игла), для прочистки сопла от загрязнения,земли, песка или оказавшихся там вдруг насекомых. Очищать нужно сопло, чтобы при необходимости огнетушителем можно было пользоваться. Pin - (то, что я видел на нефтяных месторождениях в Сибири) привязанный к огнетушителю кусочек стальной проволоки согнутый колечком на одном конце, чтобы удобно было этим самым Pin пользоваться, т.е. прочищать сопло огнетушителя. |
