The Society of Professional Journalists makes annual awards to journalists in certain states for journalistic excellence called the "green eyeshade awards". The gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson popularized the head gear for a new generation of readers. His green eyeshade was common alongside his cigarette holder, amber sunglasses, hawaiian shirts, and bermuda shorts and may be seen in the films Where the Buffalo Roam and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Этот форум не для кого-то, это — форум. Для меня вот естественно ожидать, что человек, который взялся за перевод текста, будет прилагать хотя бы не меньшие усилия для решения своей задачи, чем те, кто решил ему помочь его задачу решить. Для того, чтобы уже по подсказке провести поиск термина по-человечески, требуется около 10 минут. Никак не час, который прошёл в ожидании готового решения. |

Хорошо, я поняла вашу позицию. Полагаю, ваш благородный гнев основан на том предположении, что я этот час (и другой, и третий) сидела и курила бамбук в ожидании готового решения, а чистапогуглить не могла. Отвечаю: бамбук не курила. У меня на руках маленький ребенок, требующий постоянного внимания, переводами я занимаюсь по ночам, чтобы не сдохнуть с голода, и каждая минута у меня как раз на счету. И чтобы эти минуты сэкономить, я иногда захожу сюда и спрашиваю что-нибудь у тех, кто Вдруг, Случайно, Сейчас и Здесь знает ответ, который в противном случае я буду десять минут, полчаса или час разыскивать по сети. Вопросов у меня по переводимому роману несколько больше, чем один. Ответы я привыкла и умею находить сама. Но не всегда в конкретную минуту могу чисто физически. Благодарю за иронию, внимание, поддержку, понимание, непонимание и все остальное. |
