Subject: Translation + notray
Morning all!
I am looking for someone who can translate some documents (2 birth certificates, 2 passports, a divorce certificate and a Svidetelstvo Otsovstva).
They need to be translated from Russian to English (only one passport, mine, from Eng-Russ) and stamped by a notarty (otherwise I would have done them myself alread)

Could anyone help with this? Maybe someone here does this or works in a place where they do? (and obviously i am going to pay you, so no worries, mates.)

Thanks!
Susan

Сьюзан,

А почему б тебе в какое-нить бюро при нотариальной конторе не обратиться?

Оно и качественнее (они там только этим и занимаются) и дешевше выйдет.

Do you know any good ones?
From other expats I have been hearing a lot of complaints which is why I am asking around here if maybe someone can recommend someone or some place.

"Do you know any good ones?"

I'm not a fan of unpaid advertisment:)

Actually, I believe you could come to any agency located in the centre.

Жалобы, вероятно, касаются качества перевода "ненормативных" документов:) А вот это вот (2 birth certificates, 2 passports, a divorce certificate and a Svidetelstvo Otsovstva) с вероятностью 95% отработано до блеска в любой вменяемой нотариальной конторе.

Oh... BTW, I don't think 500 RUR/doc would cover the cost of both translation and "stamp". Would be more like 700-800 roubles.
