Subject: tube drive - помогите пожалуйста! tube drive, frequency controlled equipment - второй день ломаю голову с этим tube drive. Больше ничего нет в контексте. Вот в этом абзаце: The large tubes are phase-controlled rectifiers, which convert 300 volts ac into 230 volts (armature) or 115 volts (field) pulsating dc. речь идет о выпрямительных вентилях. Давным-давно это были кенотроны. Т.е. электронные лампы (tubes в США, valves в Англии). Потом так называли селеновые (полупроводниковые) столбы (с той же функцией). Что это сейчас, я не знаю. Но в рамках приведенного абзаца это точно выпрямительные элементы. А tube drive (в порядке догадки, смотрите сами по тексту) может быть привод от электродвигателя постоянного тока, полученного выпрямлением переменного напряжения этими самыми tubes. |
