A pay group with a monthly frequency has twelve regularly scheduled on cycle payrolls each year. Off cycle payroll processing refers to processing payments and making corrections to finalized results outside of the normal payroll schedule.: Off-cycle payments, or "off cycles", occur when payments are processed outside of the regular payroll cycle.
