в каком контексте "обозвать"? например если вы там анализом документооборота и процедур занимаетесь и вам нужно назвать его роль в контексте какой-то такой процедуры , то это одно, а если вам нужно знать как называется его должность в этой конторе, так это другое (она может быть любая, см. выше "президент"), а если что-то еще, то что-то еще... |

| Ha! ha! Presidents and prime ministers aren't suitable for invoice-processing, because they always grossly distort/invent statistics! How about "invoice-processing Queen"? :-) |

| But such sugar-coating of the job titles is quite common nowadays, isn't it? Say, you may be a janitor, but you're called a "cleaning service manager". Not to mention crazy-eyed direct marketing sellers, one third of which are Golden Partners, and the rest are Brilliant Presidents. |

solarcold: Sugar-coating of job titles: that's very true. Terms such as 'waste disposal operative' (for 'bin man') and 'vertical transport officer' (for 'lift engineer') come to mind. However, I've never heard of a clerk being called a president. Perhaps he's just fed up of working with computers and dreams of getting into politics instead...? |
