Subject: Подиум (строительство) gen. Не пойму, не вижу своих сообщени((( Ребят, еще пара вопросов.... Вопрос: И я не совсем пойму, шаг трибуны - эьо расстояние между ступеньками? И еще, подиум для инвалидов, подиум для ВИП павильона-это podium или runway? Заранее спасибо!!! |

| подиум тут не runway имхо, просто возвышения - с пандусом для инв., с павильоном для випов. |

вот тут много терминологии про трибуны (на русском) с картинками: http://www.elan-inventa.com/media/uploads/salesprogram/PbKtXS10ej_.pdf (поиск будет работать, когда все странички загрузятся там много) судя по иностранным названиям и прочим нерусским словам в этом каталоге, можно поискать и найти его англоязычную версию (и сопоставить), если есть такое сильное желание по всем правильным профессионализмам заморачиваться. |

Whereabouts exactly are this подиум and трибуна? Who exactly will be using it, and what for? There are lots of different words for this in English, depending on where it is, what it's used for and what shape it is. And what exactly does 'шаг' mean here? |

| Why unknown? The asker must have some idea of what the подиум and трибуна are used for. There's always context of some sort. |

шаг here means something like "span" - distance berween smth and smth. But we've no idea between what and what, and what should be a proper proffessionalism for this. And the context does not help. And the word "шаг" in Ruissian is pretty multi-meaning and common, so it's a fading chance to find the proper with google or anything. it's like: dear johnstephenson, tell me please Russian word for "set". Context: theater, music, show. tip: "set" is in the Guinness Book of records, due to the gigantic (or tremendously huge?) number of meanings. |
