| 'handles' here = either 'works on' or 'is involved in' or 'is responsible for', depending on the exact context and whether XXX is a person, or an organisation. More context needed – is it a list of the responsibilities of various people within an organisation, or just a description of what the organisation does? |

Rus_Land: I agree, it's probably 90% likely to be a person, but I was just checking with Alex16. However, he seems to have lost interest. 'it' is perfectly OK in your comment, because here it means 'the thing we're talking about'. |
