Subject: Должна не доходить 1 мм до поверхности gen. Привет!Встретилось следующее: Изоляция должна не доходить 1 мм до металлической поверхности клемм. Как грамотно передать это предложение на англ-ий? Insulation should not reach 1 mm to the metal surface of the terminals? Запутался в части "доходить 1 мм до". |

| Leave 1 mm gap of insulation/metal surface of the terminals или 1 mm gap shall be left between the insulation and the metal surface of the terminals. |

На всякий случай. Тут на другую тему, но похожий по структуре кусок: stop ... short of... In areas of the country that are prone to termite activity, the insulation will need to stop 3 inches short of the top of the foundation wall to allow for a pest control inspection strip. |
