Subject: Как правильно перевести словосочетание electr.eng. Добрый день!Нужна помощь. В тексте очень часто встречается словосочетание short run,medium run, long run. Я его понял по тексту как расстояние соединения. Как правильно перевести? Примеры где встречается. The medium run interface shall be capable of spanning at least 60 cm of PCB material with up to two connectors. | Это устройство назвать интерфейсом. В данном случае это система (передатчик-приемник-соединительные линии), обеспечивающая передачу сигналов внутри одной платы или пары плат, соединенных разъемом -- это видно из последнего абзаца. Шлейфа нет. |

'run' is used by domestic electricians to refer to the route taken by a cable/wire which connects two objects some distance apart -- such as a light switch on a wall and the light itself. It can also refer to the cable/wire itself. So a cable can 'run' (intransitive verb) from a light switch, up the wall, through the ceiling, across it and down through the ceiling again to the light. The electrician will say that he's installing (say) a 5-metre 'run' of cable between the two or, alternatively, that he's 'running' (transitive verb) the cable between them. It may have a similar meaning in your electrONics case, although I'm not an expert. |
